What is Dravyaa accounting?
Dravyaa accounting is double-entry, GST-ready bookkeeping built into the ERP. Sales invoices, purchase bills, receipts and payments post vouchers automatically, so the trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet are always current. It works the way Indian accountants expect from Tally, including bill-wise outstanding, voucher types and keyboard shortcuts.
Frequently asked questions
Is Dravyaa a replacement for Tally?
For many manufacturers, yes. Dravyaa provides double-entry ledgers, journal, contra, receipt and payment vouchers, daybook, cash and bank books, trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet and bill-wise outstanding, with Tally-style keyboard shortcuts. Unlike accounting-only software, it also runs inventory, purchase, sales and production in the same system.
Do I need to enter sales and purchases twice?
No. Every sales invoice, purchase bill, receipt and payment automatically posts a voucher to the right ledgers, including GST. Your books update the moment the document is saved, so there is no separate accounting entry and no month-end re-keying.
Does Dravyaa do bank reconciliation?
Yes. You can import a bank statement and Dravyaa auto-matches each line to your book entries by amount, date and cheque or UTR number. Cheques and post-dated cheques are tracked from receipt to clearing or bounce, and a bounced cheque reverses the payment automatically.
Can I lock an accounting period after closing?
Yes. Period lock stops anyone from adding, editing or cancelling vouchers dated in a closed period, while still allowing bank dates to be set for reconciliation. Year-on-year comparisons are available on the trial balance, profit and loss and balance sheet.
